Qualified, Attentive Teachers Who Guide Social Emotional Learning

We spend a lot of time during this year preparing your child for their big transition to kindergarten. We practice kindergarten rules and expectations and we work especially hard on emotional maturity. We will expect your child to listen, follow directions, be respectful to their teachers and peers and to act responsibly. Your child will learn to be an independent thinker and problem solver and they will be ready to succeed in kindergarten!

Children Gain Self-confidence And Independence

Our teachers are focused on helping your child build their self-confidence before they head to kindergarten. Defined routines and regularly scheduled activities help your child to gain awareness about what to expect each day and to become more independent in completeing tasks. Our kindergarten readiness curriculum stimulates cognitive learning, social-emotional development, language, and gross and fine motor skills through music and movement, art, dramatic play, STEM activities, manipulatives, puzzles, and books and literacy activities.

Naptime Is Optional In Prek

Prek children are outgrowing their need for naps so parents can choose whether or not to have their child lay down for nap. If your child is tired and would like to rest, they are certainly welcome to take a nap as needed.

Bathroom Assistance

By this age, children are fully potty trained, but some may still require some assistance in the bathroom. Our teachers will teach healthy bathroom habits and encourage children to tend to themselves. If a child still needs a little help, we will assist them. Children must not rely on diapers or pull-ups to attend our prek program.
