Opportunity Description

Creative Imaginations is looking for a candidate who is motivated to learn and grow professionally through one-on-one coaching and training. Whether you have years of experience or none at all, we will guide you in reaching your full potential as an Early Childhood Educator.

The candidate selected for this opportunity will work closely with a mentor to create a classroom environment where children can thrive! By connecting with children on their level and guiding them to explore new discoveries, you will play a vital role in their development. Your compassionate and nurturing approach will have a profound impact on each child’s early learning journey. This is not just a J-O-B, this is work that MATTERS.

Employment Requirements
Idaho requirements to work in child care (we will guide you through each requirement):

Must obtain current Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.

Must pass an enhanced background check.
-
Must become a member of IdahoSTARS and complete professional development trainings.
​Creative Imaginations requirements for employment:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
-
Be able to work full time (roughly 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday), and be flexible with scheduling.

Be a naturally gifted teacher (no teaching experience necessary) with a high school diploma or equivalent.
-
Have a strong work ethic and be trustworthy.
-
Have excellent attendance and punctuality.
-
Be willing to learn, grow, and be stretched to become the best teacher possible.
-
Maintain a professional and positive attitude all day, every day!

Must get along well with others.

Foster a positive inclusive classroom environment where all children feel safe and respected.

Plan and implement age appropriate lessons and activities daily using our curriculum to promote learning and development.

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive and enriching educational experience.

Monitor and assess each child’s developmental milestones, providing feedback and guidance when necessary.

Provide individualized attention and support to children, always taking into account their unique abilities and interests.

Maintain open and ongoing communication with parents, through our parent engagement app, sharing updates on their child’s progress.

Participate in staff development, staff meetings, professional activities, and special events.

Must be willing to complete other tasks that are essential to the functions of the center such as changing diapers, potty training, cleaning, and organizing.

Ensure a clean and organized classroom environment that meets health and safety regulations.

Must believe in working hard and having fun!

Most importantly, must be great with children and have a desire to be a part of something larger than themselves!
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be able to position self at child's level while assisting preschool age children, teaching at child height tables, or playing on the floor.

Must be able to lift and carry children weighing up to 40 lbs.
-
Must be able to safely observe children as defined by state licensing regulations in a classroom setting and on the outdoor playground.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
